Warranty Process

If you encounter any issues related to manufacturing, we encourage you to reach out to us promptly. Here’s how our warranty process works:

Evaluation and Return Labels:

For Customers in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK: You will receive free return labels.

For Customers Outside These Countries: A $50 deposit will be required before shipping your item to Seven Diamond Labs for evaluation. This deposit covers the shipping cost and the assessment by our expert jewelers to determine if the damage is covered under warranty. Rest assured, this fee is fully refunded for all warrantied repairs.

Complimentary Shipping:

We provide complimentary shipping back to the customer for all warrantied repairs.

Repair Approval:

For Repairs Not Covered by the Lifetime Warranty: These will be quoted to the customer for approval before any work is performed. If approved, the deposit will be applied toward the repair cost. If the customer decides not to proceed with the repair, the deposit will cover the return shipping charge after evaluation.

Warranty Coverage

If a warranty issue is identified, Seven Diamond Labs will either repair the damage or replace the item at no charge to you.

Voiding the Warranty:

Please note that any repair or service performed by a jeweler other than Seven Diamond Labs will void the warranty.

Replacement Policy:

Within 60 Days of Purchase: We will replace any damaged fine jewelry.

Beyond the Initial 60 Days: We will replace fine jewelry pieces valued at less than $1,000.

Remember that all fine jewelry can be affected by normal wear, daily activities, and occasional trauma. Rings, in particular, are subject to constant use and pressure due to hand movements.

Exclusions

Wear and Tear: Our warranty does not cover wear and tear, including discoloration of precious metals due to chemicals, makeup, pool or hot tub immersion, or bathing.

Normal Wear: Precious metals and prongs naturally wear down over time. Restoration work may be necessary as part of normal wear.

Prongs and Gemstones: Prongs can catch, wear out, or bend over time, potentially leading to gemstone loss.

Damage from Everyday Wear: The loss of a gemstone due to everyday wear or other damage is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Extended Service Plans

For common wear and tear issues, we offer extended service plans at an additional charge. These plans provide coverage beyond our standard warranty. Feel free to inquire about our service plans when you call us at 347-915-6004.

Independent Insurance Coverage

We recommend maintaining independent insurance coverage for your jewelry. This helps protect against significant damage, loss, or theft.

Free Lifetime Diamond Upgrade

At Seven Diamond Labs, we take pride in offering a free lifetime upgrade for our lab-grown diamonds. Here are the details:

Eligibility:

Loose Lab-Grown Diamonds: Any loose lab-grown diamond purchased from Seven Diamond Labs can be exchanged for credit equivalent to the original purchase price. The new lab-grown diamond must be at least 2 times greater in value than the original. The diamond being upgraded must be accompanied by original documentation and must be in saleable condition.

Exclusions:

Colored Gemstones: Upgrades are not available for colored gemstones, including colored lab-grown diamonds, settings, or jewelry.

Upgrade Credit: The upgrade credit does not cover duty or tax paid on the original purchase. All applicable duties and taxes will be charged on the full retail price of the new diamond before any credit is applied.

Setting Considerations:

If the upgraded lab-grown diamond cannot be set in your original engagement ring setting, you have the option to exchange it for a precious metal credit. We recycle gold or platinum jewelry and offer a credit based on current metal prices.
